Coastal Pines Behavioral Health is a modern, purpose-built facility and a cornerstone of behavioral health care in Northeast Florida, designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality psychiatric services in the region. The 144-bed behavioral health hospital, located in St. Johns, offers a full continuum of services including inpatient psychiatric care, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).

Day shift (8a - 5p)
Unit: Adult population - Psychiatric Unit
Assists the DON/CNO with directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and supervising the effective and efficient use of the operations of nursing for assigned units. Oversees the delivery of behavioral health/nursing services in a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, other departments and administration to ensure that all residents’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints. Provide leadership to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as nursing practice standards. Recognizes that patient safety is a top priority.
This position requires a Level 2 Background Screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. In accordance with Florida law, employers must provide applicants with direct access to information about the state’s background screening requirements.
