Nemours seeks a Nurse Manager to lead Georgetown and Lewes Primary Care locations. The role directs patient care services, mentors staff, and ensures resources meet departmental needs.

The incumbent will promote Magnet model leadership, participate in quality and improvement initiatives, and drive evidence-based care delivery. Responsibilities include policy participation, staff development, budgeting, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN licensure active in appropriate state.
• Masters in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Five years of clinical experience required; pediatrics experience preferred.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice; management theory and change processes.
• Previous management experience required; BLS certification may be required.

Responsabilités

• Participates in nursing and organizational policy formulation and decision-making.
• Advocates for patients/families and staff; promotes diversity and ethics in policies.
• Leads staffing planning and budgeting for defined areas; ensures resource availability.
• Drives quality assessment, improvement and evidence-based care delivery; supports Lean methods.
• Provides guidance and supervision to staff; participates in performance evaluations and staff development.
