Job Summary And Responsibilities

We are offering to qualified and experienced candidates a sign-on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary for this position. As our Nurse Manager Perioperative Services at Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center, you’ll oversee approximately 80 surgical services staff and act as the conduit between these caregivers and leadership teams. You will communicate the organization’s goals to the staff as we constantly seek to improve patient experience and outcomes. At the same time, you will advocate for your team by bringing any issues, requests, or new ideas from them to leadership. Glendale Hospital has 8 operating rooms, and on average we perform over 300 surgeries per month. Our surgical specialties include Open Heart/Vascular, Neuro/Spine, Orthopedics, General, Robotics, OB/GYN, Colorectal, Urology, and GI. To thrive in this role, you must be competent and confident. Utilizing your excellent communication skills one‑on‑one and in front of groups, you will tackle tough conversations and, above all, be an educator at heart.
