Nurse Manager Pediatrics PICU

Our client is one of the largest not-for-profit medical centers in California. At our four campuses located throughout San Francisco, we provide exemplary inpatient emergency and outpatient services, including specialized care for women and children, organ transplant programs and innovative orthopedic treatments.

They have an opening for a true "A" player to spearhead their small(er) rapidly expanding Pediatric Service line with responsibility for 10 State of the Art Operating Rooms

The Clinical Nurse Manager for Pediatrics provides for the delivery of efficient and effective professional nursing care for the inpatient nursing unit and ensures that nursing care provided is consistent with established nursing care standards and that care is provided in a safe, appropriate and cost-effective manner. This is a very important position within our Women & Children's service line and this Pediatrics Clinical Manager is responsible for the supervision, management, and development of staff; for planning, directing and monitoring of unit operations; and for the fiscal management of their department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required - BSN. Masters preferred.
• Current California RN license.
• BLS required.
• 3 - 5 years of related acute care experience in Pediatrics.
• 1 – 2 years of previous management/supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Experience in coaching and team building preferred.
