An opportunity has opened for a highly skilled Nurse Manager of Outpatient Surgery to lead a collaborative, high-performance surgical team. This role is ideal for a surgical services nurse leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about safety, outcomes, and quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour operational oversight for the outpatient surgical unit

• Coordinate clinical staff schedules and ensure safe, efficient delivery of care

• Supervise and evaluate nursing care to maintain high performance and compliance

• Collaborate with department heads to optimize resources and ensure regulatory compliance

• Support the Director with unit performance improvement initiatives and budgeting

• Promote and maintain high standards of patient satisfaction and staff engagement

Qualifications:
Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care surgical services leadership experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of RN experience in an operating room or surgical setting

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

• RN license in Texas or Compact State RN license

• BLS required (must be from approved vendor)

• ACLS and PALS required or obtainable within 6 months of hire

• Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred

• Prior management experience preferred or demonstrated leadership capability
