The Clinical Nursing Manager is responsible for managing clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s). Responsibilities include managing human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources while achieving departmental goals through effective daily operations. The role demonstrates integrity, a willingness to take on new challenges, and prioritizes staff engagement. The manager promotes a positive work environment by being visible and accessible to staff and patients, supporting staff development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will need the following:

  • 3 years RN experience, required
  • 1-year clinical leadership experience, required
  • High School GED, required
  • A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), required
  • Masters Degree, preferred
  • Current RN License in the state of employment, required
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Board certification within six months of hire or transfer; certification must be obtained within two years
  • Clinical and/or Leadership certification within 6 months of hire or transfer, credentialing through ANCC preferred

Physical requirements include medium work exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

Pay Range: $48.04-$74.62/hour
