***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in either the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.***
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides medical services at the scope and level of a Nurse Manager to preserve the health of client personnel.
- Plans and adjusts work schedules and operations to meet mission objectives, priorities, deadlines, and standards of care.
- Ensures nurse staffing and equipment requirements to meet current demands, safety, and accreditation standards.
- Coordinates communication and promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach.
- Assists in data collection and analysis for report completion.
- Establishes and coordinates work schedules to ensure appropriately skilled nursing coverage across all facility clinics and departments.
- Develops and implements nursing policies and procedures that promote patient wellbeing and safety. Educates staff on, and enforces, all approved policies and procedures.
- Utilizes various medical devices, such as catheters and feeding tubes, effectively.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal requirements, accreditation bodies, organizational policies, and clinical responsibilities.
- Implements ongoing systems to measure, assess, and improve the quality of nursing care.
- Evaluates operations and services in relation to patient flow, productivity, and treatment needs.
- Develops individual plans for nurses based on specific skills and medical unit needs.
- Ensures continuous improvement in patient care procedures and quality controls.
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of all privacy laws.
- Responds to inquiries using knowledge of policies and practices for safeguarding information, including confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Proactively multitasks on various assignments, providing thorough work with urgency based on program needs.
- Maintains professionalism, ethical standards, discretion, and confidentiality of all company information and communications.
- Records and maintains patient information according to protocols and the Privacy Act.
- Protects patient privacy through confidentiality, infection control, proper medication administration, and equipment maintenance.
- Performs duties safely, following corporate safety policies.
- Performs other duties as required by contract.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Active, unrestricted Nursing License, free from adverse actions, and able to be credentialed by company policy.
- Minimum 5 years as a Nurse Manager.
- Minimum 4 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications.
- Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to operational changes and shift requirements.
- Proficiency in English communication skills.

- Typical interior/office environment.
- Prolonged sitting and standing.
