Note: This position depends on contract award and is located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical services as a Nurse Manager to maintain client health.
- Plan and adjust work schedules to meet mission objectives and standards of care.
- Ensure adequate nurse staffing and equipment to meet demands and safety standards.
- Promote interdisciplinary communication and collaboration.
- Assist in data collection and report preparation.
- Develop work schedules ensuring specialized nursing coverage across facilities.
- Develop and enforce nursing policies and procedures to promote patient safety.
- Utilize various medical devices appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Implement quality improvement systems for nursing care.
- Evaluate operations to optimize patient flow and treatment.
- Develop individual nurse plans based on skills and needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy laws adherence, including HIPAA, PHI, PII.
- Handle multiple tasks proactively, maintaining professionalism and discretion.
- Record patient information following protocols and privacy laws.
- Ensure infection control, proper medication administration, and equipment maintenance.
- Follow safety policies and perform other contract-related duties.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Active, unrestricted Nursing License.
- At least 5 years as a Nurse Manager and 4 years as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and office equipment.
- Ability to work under stress and adapt to changes.
- English proficiency; US citizenship or permanent residency for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Department of Homeland Security clearance.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Physical and Work Conditions:
- Primarily indoor/office environment.
- Sitting and standing for extended periods.
