***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.***
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides medical services at the scope and level of a Nurse Manager to preserve the health of client personnel.
- Plans and adjusts work schedules and operations to meet mission objectives, priorities, deadlines, and standards of care.
- Assures nurse staffing and equipment requirements to achieve current demands, safety requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Coordinates communication and promotes a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach.
- Assists in data collection and analysis for report completion.
- Establishes and coordinates work schedules to ensure appropriately skilled nursing coverage across all facility clinics and departments.
- Develops and implements nursing policies and procedures that promote patient well-being and safety. Educates staff on, and enforces all, policies and procedures.
- Utilizes various medical devices, such as catheters and feeding tubes.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Implements systems to measure, assess, and improve the quality of nursing care.
- Evaluates operations related to patient flow, productivity, and treatment needs.
- Develops individual plans for nurses based on their skills and the needs of the medical unit.
- Ensures continuous improvement in patient care procedures and quality control mechanisms.
- Responsible for safeguarding patient privacy laws and confidentiality of all proprietary information.
- Responds to inquiries using knowledge of policies, procedures, and practices for safeguarding information (HIPAA, PHI, PII).
- Proactively multitasks on various assignments, maintaining thorough work with a sense of urgency.
- Maintains professionalism, ethical standards, discretion, and confidentiality in all company matters.
- Records and maintains patient information per protocols and privacy laws.
- Protects patient privacy through confidentiality, infection control, proper medication administration, and equipment maintenance.
- Performs duties safely, following corporate safety policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contract requirements.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Active, unrestricted nursing license, free from pending adverse actions, and able to be credentialed by Acuity International.
- Minimum 5 years as a Nurse Manager.
- Minimum 4 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications required.
- Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to operational changes and shifts.
- Proficient in English communication skills.
- Must be a US citizen or a permanent resident residing in the US for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current adjudicated Department of Homeland Security clearance.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
- Primarily indoor/office environment.
- Sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
