***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in either the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provides medical services at the scope and level of a Nurse Manager to preserve the health of client personnel.
  2. Plans and adjusts work schedules and operations to meet mission objectives, priorities, deadlines, and standards of care.
  3. Ensures nurse staffing and equipment requirements to meet current demands, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.
  4. Coordinates communication and promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach.
  5. Assists in data collection and analysis for report completion.
  6. Establishes and coordinates work schedules to ensure appropriately skilled nursing coverage across all facility clinics and departments.
  7. Develops and implements nursing policies and procedures that promote patient wellbeing and safety. Educates staff on and enforces these policies.
  8. Utilizes various medical devices, such as catheters and feeding tubes, effectively.
  9. Ensures compliance with state and federal requirements, accreditation standards, organization policies, and clinical responsibilities.
  10. Implements continuous quality improvement systems for nursing care.
  11. Evaluates operations related to patient flow, productivity, and treatment needs.
  12. Develops individualized plans for nursing staff based on skills and needs.
  13. Ensures ongoing improvements in patient care procedures and quality control.
  14. Maintains compliance with privacy laws and confidentiality standards.
  15. Responds to inquiries using knowledge of policies and practices for safeguarding information (HIPAA, PHI, PII).
  16. Proactively multitasks and maintains thorough work with a sense of urgency.
  17. Maintains professionalism, ethical standards, discretion, and confidentiality.
  18. Records and maintains patient information per protocols and privacy laws.
  19. Protects patient privacy through confidentiality and infection control procedures.
  20. Performs duties safely, following corporate safety policies.
  21. Performs additional duties as required by contract.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active, unrestricted nursing license without pending adverse actions.
  • Minimum 5 years as a Nurse Manager.
  • Minimum 4 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
  • Ability to work under stress and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
  • Primarily indoor/office environment.
  • Sitting and standing for extended periods.
