Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, part of NYC Health + Hospitals, seeks experienced registered nurses to deliver high-quality care across units. Under supervision, you will plan, implement and evaluate the nursing regimen and guide nursing staff while coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

You must hold a NYS RN license, maintain BLS certification, and have at least three years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse.

Responsabilités

• Direct and supervise nursing personnel in nursing activities across two or more units.
• Identify and discriminate signs and symptoms; select and perform essential therapeutic measures.
• Develop, implement and evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients.
• Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes for continuity of care.
• Interpret and report patient responses to health team members.
