Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC seeks an experienced Nursing Unit Director to lead 7 South. You will supervise clinical operations, develop policies, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
The role requires RN licensure in North Carolina, BSN, MSN preferred, and 3–5 years in nursing management. You will oversee budgeting, performance improvement, safety and regulatory compliance, with a focus on staff development and patient
Direct, supervise and coordinate the functions and activities of assigned unit(s). Responsible for overall management and coordination of the service to include fiscal resource management, human resource management, capital improvements and quality of services including enhancement of human experience (patient, families and caregivers).
Education and Formal Training: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or master’s degree in other health related field preferred Nursing certification preferred.
Unit Description: 7 South is a 33-bed unit with all private rooms. Our Care team consists of Registered Nurses, a Clinical Educator, Nursing Assistants, Unit Secretary, Resource Nurses, Case Managers, Physical Therapists, Dieticians and Occupational and Speech Therapists. Our Patients include Adult and Geriatric patients.
