Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Manager for Medical Stepdown to lead nursing care for a defined patient population on a 24-hour basis. This role requires directing delivery, promoting a professional practice environment aligned with Mercy's mission, and implementing the Nursing Strategic Plan.

The position is full-time during day shifts, Monday through Friday, with leadership responsibilities that focus on patient outcomes, engagement, and operational excellence within the Medical Stepdown unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Minimum of three years of clinical leadership experience.
• Proficient in using a PC and able to analyze complex data from information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of nursing care to a patient population on a 24-hour basis with quality outcomes.
• Promote a professional practice environment aligned with Mercy's mission and goals.
• Implement elements of the Nursing Strategic Plan within departments.
• Perform duties in line with Mercy's mission, values and standards.
