Job Description

Nurse Managers are responsible for the following:

1. Supervising the quality of treatment and care of the patients.
2. Directing staffing and administration of a nursing unit or floor.
3. Facilitating a team culture that encourages and rewards excellence in patient care.

The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who manages the financial, human, and other resources for the provision of quality patient care in an assigned area over a twenty-four-hour period.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Master's Degree in Nursing required or enrollment in an MSN program.
• State-issued RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 3-5 years of nursing experience, including hospital clinical practice.
• Knowledge of Med/Surg and Telemetry.
• Shift/Hours: Full-time, days, 40 hours weekly.
• Location: Jefferson, Torresdale.
