Job summary

The Ohio State University University Hospital in Columbus is seeking an Associate Nurse Manager to support the Nurse Manager in leading a team of care providers and delivering patient-centered care within the Nursing Professional Practice Model.

The ANM will assist in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating 24-hour patient care operations, coaching staff and collaborating with related departments to improve outcomes, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience; four to eight years preferred.
• Experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organization, direction and evaluation of patient care operations in a 24-hour area.
• Guide, coach and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff.
• Collaborate with other patient care departments related to patient care operations and services.
