Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Skilled Nursing unit at Bonne Vie in Port Arthur, TX. You will oversee direct patient care and supervise care delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include rounds, chart reviews, care plan coordination, MD orders entry, and interdisciplinary team collaboration in a long-term care setting. Strong nursing leadership and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School and a current and valid LVN/LPN license in the applicable State.
• Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in a long-term or health care setting is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Monitor/Review daily documentation for accuracy and appropriate intervention.
• Make rounds on all Patients at least every 4 hours and coordinate with charge nurse.
• Review 24-hour reports and assess patients with changes in condition.
• Review incident reports and ensure nursing documentation meets requirements.
• Complete MDS, care plans, and TILE assessments; participate in weekly meetings.
• Enter physician orders daily and verify for accuracy; manage monthly logs.
