Job summary

Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing in Middlebury, VT is seeking an RN Nurse Manager to oversee the nursing care of all residents on the units and to lead the staff delegated by the Director of Nursing.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in Long Term Care with supervisory experience, be a graduate of an accredited RN program, hold Vermont RN licensure, and demonstrate a strong commitment to geriatrics and resident privacy and quality of care.

Job Description

The RN Nurse Manager is in charge of the Nursing Care of all residents on the units and the staff delegated by the Director of Nursing.

Experience

• Two or more years of nursing experience in Long Term Care.
• One year of administrative or supervisory experience.
• Advance preparation in Unit Management and principles of supervision desirable.
• Experience in the field as a professional nurse with supervising skills utilized.
• Knowledge of and interest in field of geriatrics essential.

Education

• Graduate from and accredited school of nursing (RN program).
• Current license with Vermont State Board of Nursing.
