Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System seeks a Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations across its 61-bed hospital in Muskogee and associated clinics. The role focuses on staff orientation, performance evaluation, and implementing evidence-based care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, is licensed as a registered nurse, and demonstrates strong leadership, patient-centered care, and compliance with VA standards.

Formación

• English language proficiency required by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f) for direct patient care roles
• Graduate of a nursing program approved by ACEN or CCNE and licensed to practice as a nurse in the United States
• Foreign nursing graduates must provide credential evaluation and full, active, unrestricted licensure
• Pre-placement evaluation may be required and licensure status must be current at appointment

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Nurse Manager overseeing assigned units and provide coverage as needed
• Direct orientation, training, development of staff and evaluation of performance
• Lead and provide mentorship to nursing staff and ensure adherence to evidence-based practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve care delivery and outcomes
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and organizational policies
• Participate in strategy planning and deployment of care delivery models

Educación

Nursing degree (ADN or Diploma in Nursing) or BSN

State license as registered nurse

Graduate of nursing program approved by ACEN/CCNE
