You will oversee nursing care, ensure completion of patient activities, assign personnel, and identify training needs.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS to be obtained within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Five years of nursing experience with two years in an inpatient hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shift or unit.
• Ensures all patient care activities are completed as required.
• Assigns appropriate nursing personnel to provide care and ensures presence.
• Identifies training needs and resources for staff with other leaders.
• Celebrates patient victories along the way.
