Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing required.
- Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse License required.
- 1-3 years’ experience with OPWDD.
- Previous experience supervising preferred.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License and transportation required.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, operational oversight, and clinical supervision for the Supportive Health Services Department, ensuring safe, person-centered, high-quality nursing services that comply with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Supportive Health Assistants and other staff; foster development, accountability, and clinical excellence.
- Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of health-related education and competency programs for licensed and unlicensed staff to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality service.
