Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead a unit and drive excellence in care delivery. This role requires an RN licensed in Georgia with strong leadership and effective communication to promote high-quality outcomes.

You will oversee clinical operations, staffing, budgeting and safety initiatives, partnering with physicians and staff to uphold standards of practice and patient-centered care in a Day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and RN licensure; Master’s preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum two years of professional nursing experience.
• Georgia RN license or privilege to practice via eNLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of a unit or service.
• Accountable for delivery of care and services through effective communication and measurement of interventions.
• Oversee clinical, financial, human and material resources to drive outcomes.
• Serve as retention and safety officer to mitigate risks and promote a safe environment.
• Foster collaboration with physicians, staff and other departments to uphold standards.
