Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing is required.
• Master of Nursing is preferred.
• Active Georgia RN license or multi-state compact (eNLC) required upon hire.
• BLS certification required (Instructor preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of a unit or service to promote excellence in patient care and staff recruitment and retention.
• Serve as standard bearer on the unit and hold team members accountable for care delivery and outcomes.
• Oversee clinical, financial, human and material resources and achieve unit goals.
• Act as chief retention and safety officer to manage talent and protect resources using data and technology.
• Create a safe work environment to meet mission and goals and foster collaboration with physicians and staff.
• Lead interdisciplinary teamwork, set performance standards, and support positive team dynamics.
• Promote staff competency in clinical care and uphold professional standards and ethics.
• Apply evidence-based practice and drive quality improvement across the service.
