Mercy Hospital, Love Family Women's Center, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support the Chief Nursing Officer in delivering safe and cost-efficient care. The role emphasizes staff competency, resource utilization, and collaboration with physicians and hospital teams to enhance communication and care processes across the continuum.

The unit specializes in Obstetrics and Mother Baby care, Well Newborn, and related areas, with a broad patient care scope and a high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Current license in applicable State of practice for Registered Nurse.
• Experience: Minimum three years nursing experience. Previous leadership/management experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Other: Demonstrates skill in human relations and communications is required. Must have broad understanding of the patient care process and be able to demonstrate clinical expertise in their area of responsibility.

Overview

About Our Unit

We are high-paced, high-energy unit specializing in Obstetrics and Mother Baby, Well Newborn Care along Post Women’s Surgical unit. Within our unit we have: 40-MB rooms, 15-LDR rooms, 14-High Risk Antepartum, 8-bed OBED unit, 4-LIBC Birthing Suites, 4-Pre Post Rooms, and 3-OR suites (where we circulate all of our own cases).

Within our unit we also have full-time Lactation Consultants who see both inpatient and outpatients. Mercy OKC is the leading delivering hospital in Oklahoma City and second leading in the Ministry. Our teams offer a comprehensive suite of services at the Love Family's Women's Center.
