The Manager of L&Dcoordinates the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the provisions of nursing care in the work unit including staffing and scheduling, monitoring staff performance, providing staff education, implementing and directing QI functions, and participating in unit budget preparation and management. The Manager of Labor & Delivery acts as a liaison between customers, nursing staff, medical staff, and ancillary departments. The Labor and Delivery Manager assumes accountability for continuity of services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
·BSN Required
·Current Florida RN license.
·Three years of experience as a registered nurse in caring for patients in a womens, L&D, Peds setting.
