A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Spinal Cord Injuries/Disability Inpatient Unit in Colorado. The role involves overseeing patient care, staff training, and regulatory compliance while promoting evidence-based practices. The Nurse Manager (NM) is the designated first-line supervisory authority responsible for the 24/7 operation of the Spinal Cord Injuries/Disability - Inpatient Unit. The NM provides coverage for other NMs as needed and functions as a clinical expert within their area of expertise/unit.
Basic Requirements:
Grade Determinations: The scope, education, and experience criteria determine the grade level, detailed at this link.
Physical Requirements: Visual acuity, keen hearing, manual dexterity, ability to perform long periods of walking, standing, stooping, sitting, bending, pulling, and pushing. May be exposed to infected patients and contaminated materials, and may need to don protective clothing.
Preferred Experience: Spinal Cord Injury and Disorders, Medical/Surgical, VA supervisory experience.
