Qualifications

• Passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• BSN is required.
• Minimum of five years inpatient nursing experience.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) through Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation required.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical practice and quality outcomes: administer direct nursing care and serve as a clinical resource and role model of clinical excellence for staff.
• Human resource leadership: collaborate to lead a positive work environment that facilitates excellent patient and caregiver experiences.
• Management of the patient care environment: visible leadership on the unit, responsible for effective management of patient progress and outcomes.
• Financial growth and stewardship: manage within budget in collaboration with leadership as evidenced by metrics.
