Job summary

Amerita, Inc., part of the BrightSpring Health Services family, seeks a Regional Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in the New Jersey region. The role reports to the Regional Director and oversees staffing, scheduling, clinical care and quality assurance for home infusion operations.

Based in Totowa, NJ, you will ensure 24/7 on‑call nursing coverage, collaborate with Pharmacy and outside agencies, and support sales and clinical program development as the region grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 3–5 years of nursing management experience.
• Recent 3–5 years in home infusion/home health.
• CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees regional nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling and QA.
• Maintains 24/7 on‑call nursing coverage and on‑call scheduling.
• Coordinates patient care with Pharmacy and outside agencies.
• Supports branch marketing and clinical program development.
• Travels within the region for program support and supervision.

The role will report to the Regional Director and work in our location branch.

As a core member of the Nursing team, you will be expected to oversee all of the regional nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, labor costs, clinical care and quality assurance. Responsibilities

• Ensures that nursing services are provided to patients in a professional and appropriate manner and in compliance with company policies and procedures, state and federal regulatory requirements and accepted clinical standards. Ensures that policies and procedures comply with all applicable regulatory requirements.
• May require understanding of nursing regulations in more than one state, including ongoing updates and new regulations
• Oversees patient care coordination with the Pharmacy staff and with outside Nursing agencies as indicated.
• Participates in the branch Quality Assurance program, assuring that local metrics include nursing quality improvement initiatives. Monitors quality improvement activities and compliance to policies and procedures with QA tools and regular audits.
• Oversees hiring, competency development, continuing education, performance appraisal, supervision and discipline of nursing staff within the region
• Oversees coordination of activities of the nursing staff.
• Provides safe and professional nursing care to infusion patients. Care includes patient education, direct patient care, ongoing clinical monitoring, care planning and care coordination.
• Ensures 24/7 day availability of nursing care using on-call nurses after business hours. Oversees on-call schedule.
• Supports sales staff in growing new business by accompanying them on sales calls to discuss clinical services and programs, contributes to the development of marketing tools and programs, marketing documentation, and clinical programs.
• Develops and presents in-services to referrals sources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice
• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in nursing management
• Recent three five (3-5) years of experience in home infusion and home health
• Extensive experience in IV therapy
• Current CPR certification
• Flexible schedule with the availability to work on-call evenings, weekends and holidays on an as-scheduled basis
• Ability to travel within the region as needed for nursing program support and supervisory responsibilities
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license and evidence of automobile insurance
