Job summary

Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead and develop patient care teams in an acute care setting, ensuring clinical excellence and fiscal stewardship. The role requires a BSN and progressive leadership experience, with MSN and ANCC certification preferred.

The Nurse Manager will collaborate with physicians, leaders, and staff to deliver high-quality care, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement across the unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Master's in Nursing, Business, Health Management or related field preferred.
• ANCC recognized nursing specialty certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting required.
• Demonstration of progressive nursing leadership in roles (e.g., Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, House Manager, Clinical Coordinator, etc.).
• Knowledge of quality management and service excellence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with coaching and facilitation expertise.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Demonstrates innovative, creative leadership style.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Knowledge of quality management and service excellence.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES

• Current license to practice in the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
