Job summary

WellSpan Health's Emergency Department in Ephrata seeks a Nursing Manager to oversee daily operations and coordinate the work of professional nursing and support staff on the unit.

The role requires a BSN, a current RN license (multistate) and BLS certification, plus at least 3 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience is preferred. The 29-bed department handles about 30,000 patients annually, including a 6-bed behavioral health area.

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN license upon hire.
• Minimum 3 years relevant nursing experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Board Certified Nurse Executive preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily operations and work activities of professional nursing and nursing support staff on assigned unit.
• Oversee patient flow and staffing on the unit.
• Coordinate care delivery and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with ED leadership.

• Work Experience: 3 years Relevant experience. Required
• Supervisory experience. Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required or
• Registered Nurse Multi State License Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• Board Certified Nurse Executive Upon Hire Preferred
