Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC in Everett is seeking a licensed RN or LPN for a full-time day shift (8am–4pm). The role centers on coordinating nursing care in a long-term care facility and supporting staff to deliver quality resident care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN/LPN program, MA state licensure, annual re-licensure with CEUs, and current CPR, Accucheck and IV therapy certificates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited RN or LPN program is required.
• Current MA State RN or LPN licensure is required; annual re-licensure per regulations; yearly CEU requirements.
• Current CPR, Accucheck and IV Therapy certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the administration and clinical activities for the nursing department on a designated shift or unit in accordance with regulations governing long-term care facilities.
• Serves as the resource to staff in clinical and managerial decision making and delegates responsibilities.
• Participates in inspections (surveys) by authorized agencies and ensures appropriate assessment of residents.
• Participates in development, implementation, and communication of each resident's plan of care.
• Makes frequent rounds to ensure staff performance and resident needs are met.
• Monitors nursing documentation procedures and reports issues to the Director of Nursing.
• Ensures disciplinary actions are fair and in accordance with policy.
