Job summary

The role reports to the Director of Nursing and collaborates with the Health Center Director and Medical Director to ensure efficient operations and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the District of Columbia or eligibility for DC licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years of management experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent clinical nursing experience preferred, especially in medical-surgical, emergency, ICU, or urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with health center management to ensure quality patient care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing processes for quality care and patient flow.
• Partner with Medical Director and Health Center Director on quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise RN, LPN, Medical Assistant, and Nursing Assistant staff.
• Coordinate schedules and assignments for nursing staff.
• Coordinate annual competency assessments and staff development.
