Tanner-Health-1 is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee nursing duties, supervise staff, and maintain high standards of patient care across the unit. The role involves 24-hour accountability for patient care and coordination using the nursing process.
Candidates should hold a Georgia RN license (or multistate license) and CPR certification, with a BSN preferred and at least five years of related nursing experience.
The Nurse Manager performs nursing duties following hospital policy/procedure and supervises other nursing personnel who are responsible for patient care. The Nurse Manager assumes 24 hour responsibility for the management of patient care and the personnel who are assigned to that area. This nurse has an in depth knowledge of nursing practice/management and takes responsibility for the development and nurturing of self. This position will include accountability for maintaining high standards of patient care and nursing practice for the entire unit. The Nurse Manager is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating the nursing care provided on the unit utilizing the nursing process.
Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework
Five years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.
