Job summary

NUWAY in Minneapolis is seeking a Nurse Manager to supervise nursing staff across residential locations and ensure policy adherence. You will train staff and cover shifts as needed, while maintaining client confidentiality per HIPAA and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Minnesota RN license, First Aid/CPR, and strong communication, with a focus on delivering thorough, quality care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
• Must be age 18 or older.
• Must have First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of starting.
• Must pass Minnesota DHS background study.
• Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Professional demeanor with excellent oral and written communications.
• Competent with computers and able to document in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff and collaborate with site leaders to ensure policy/procedures are followed.
• Supervise staff and train as necessary; cover duties in absence of nursing staff.
• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and state/federal guidelines.
• Help ensure high-quality care across NUWAY residential locations.
