For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to a $10,000 Sign-on bonus for eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for those with more than 2 years of experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time RN position. Bonus amount is prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation from employment.

Summary:

Responsible for overall clinical supervision and coordination of person-centered quality care, including clinical operations, fiscal, and regulatory requirements. Emphasizes the importance of the employee/customer relationship to achieve positive outcomes. Acts as a liaison with other departments to ensure collaborative care delivery using an interdisciplinary team approach.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  1. Education: Minimum associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year accredited School of Nursing.
  2. License/Certifications: Current Maine State Registered Professional Nurse license required. Current BLS certification required. Certificate in Gerontology or Nursing Management preferred.
  3. Experience: Minimum six months to one year's related experience and/or training. Experience in residential care preferred. Geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
