The Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of the daily operations and clinical practice of assigned patient care areas to provide quality, individualized patient care and support of Medical Center philosophies. This position will support our interventional, addiction, and behavioral health practices. The Nurse Manager will use professional judgment and critical thinking when performing procedures and anticipate patient care needs. Performs calmly in stressful situations, in a cooperative, harmonious manner for maximum effectiveness. The Nurse Manager will be responsible at times for direct patient care.

The Nurse Manager supports research, participates in both long- and short-term strategic planning, and assures patient advocacy. The Nurse Manager is accountable to the Practice Manager and Director of Ambulatory Nursing Practice.
