Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Nurse Manager to create an environment where frontline nurses and ancillary staff deliver whole-person care that is safe and outcome-oriented. You will maintain a highly-visible presence on the unit, supervise multiple staff levels, and coordinate daily activities to meet patient, family, and staff satisfaction goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (RN) with state licensure; a Master’s Degree is preferred, and prior leadership and acute

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Master’s Degree: Preferred
  • Five years’ technical experience: Preferred
  • Two years’ experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting: Preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Builds and leads a high-performing clinical work team.
  • Schedules, leads, and coordinates daily unit activities.
  • Collaborates with physicians and department leaders to ensure efficient operations.
  • Directs and oversees nursing and ancillary staff to meet patient safety and quality goals.
