Adventist Health Glendale seeks a Nursing Leader to create a safe, efficient environment and oversee front-line staff to optimize patient care. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and department leaders, supervision of nursing activities, and initiative in scheduling and staffing on a defined unit.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Nursing, with preferred Master's and leadership experience, and will have multiple years in acute care settings with RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Five years' technical experience preferred.
• One year leadership experience preferred.
• Two years' acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Builds a high performing clinical work team by recruiting and retaining skilled professional staff.
• Sets and strives to achieve goals for patient safety, quality of care and regulatory compliance.
• Conducts daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate care for patients and families.
• Assesses unit personnel requirements and manages staffing, overtime, and scheduling.
• Facilitates throughput and throughput improvements, discharge planning, and equipment safety.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
