Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
• Two years' experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• CPR or BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy.
• National specialty certification in area of expertise or in nursing administration.
• Facility-specific license/certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs activities of nursing and ancillary personnel.
• Schedules, leads, and coordinates daily unit activities.
• Collaborates with staff, charge nurses, physicians, and department leaders.
• Ensures patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
• Conducts rounds with health team members and coordinates care plans.
