What Else Does Devereux Offer You?

Experience:
Minimum five (5) years nursing experience in a healthcare facility, preferably with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and/or TBI. At least three (3) years supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership abilities required. Excellent communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft applications. Must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a valid RN license in Pennsylvania. BSN preferred but not required. Completion of CDC Infection Preventionist requirements within 3 months of hire.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to administer CPR and first aid, properly restrain adults, and create a therapeutic milieu. Capable of walking, standing, bending, sitting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Normal hearing and vision required. Must be free of substance dependency or abuse. Occasional vehicle operation required.
Work Environment:
Primarily indoor work with adequate lighting and ventilation. Some temperature fluctuations. Use of protective equipment as needed. Exposure to blood-borne pathogens possible. Physical involvement in S&P techniques may be required.
