Job Summary

This is a FLSA non-exempt position. The Nurse will monitor the physical health and safety of persons enrolled in the Wellness Recovery Center. Responsibilities include delivering and administering medications, supervising trained para-professional staff, communicating with healthcare providers about clients’ health, and consulting with Center staff on health issues. The Nurse reports to the Director of the Wellness Recovery Center and performs duties independently within established policies and ethical standards, referring complex situations to supervisors.

Qualifications

• RN: Graduate of an accredited program, registered to practice in Virginia.
• LPN: Graduate of an accredited program, licensed to practice in Virginia.
• Valid Virginia Driver’s License and acceptable driving record are required for travel. Personal vehicle use requires valid insurance.
