Qualifications

• Nursing degree or graduation from an approved LPN program.
• Active, unencumbered LPN license in this state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric population preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement policies.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily functions of nursing personnel in compliance with rules for long-term care.
• Coordinate nursing services with other departments for resident care.
• Develop, maintain, and implement QA programs for the nursing dept.
• Oversee admissions, transfers, discharges, and documentation.
• Perform routine charting and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Prepare and administer medications following five rights.
• Review medication and treatment records for accuracy.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure staff compliance with standards.
