Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Gillette, WY is hiring a Staff Nurse to deliver quality nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will follow physician orders, Primrose policies, and state/federal regulations to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.

LPN/RN/LVN license, CPR/First Aid, and ability to work holidays/weekends are required. We offer PTO, comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• Current, active nursing license (LPN, RN, LVN) in WY.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification per state regulations.
• Meet annual continuing education hours required for nursing license.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of state laws for nursing in assisted living.

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring for a Nurse to be responsible forproviding quality nursing care within Primrose Retirement Communities, ensuring that residents’ needs are met in accordance with standards of practice through physician orders, Primrose policies and procedures, federal, state, and local regulations, and established nursing best practices. Through a collaborative and “person-centered” approach, the Staff Nurse enables each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

What we're looking for:

• Current, active nursing license (LPN, RN, LVN) in the state the community is located in.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification per state regulations.
• Meet annual continuing education hours required for nursing license if applicable.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of current state laws and regulations that apply to the practice of nursing as an RN/LPN/LVN in an assisted living setting.
• Has strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team.
• Basic knowledge of computer software and programs.
• Able to work holiday and weekend rotation.
