Sycamorespring of Miamisburg is seeking a charge nurse leader for night shift at our state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility in Miamisburg, OH. The role provides direct patient care and oversight to nurse aides while ensuring high-quality care delivery for residents and their families.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ($28.00 to $32.00) with shift differentials, daily pay option, and tuition reimbursement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification maintained.
• Desire to work with elderly residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care on the nursing unit and oversee the unit.
• Deliver direct nursing care to residents.
• Perform admin and patient-care duties as directed by the ADON or DON.
• Supervise nurse aides and ensure policy adherence.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Instruct and supervise care per orders or standards of practice.
• Assist in admission and discharge processes.

Description

Facility is currently looking for Full Time, Part Time and PRN positions for NIGHT SHIFT. Come join our team as a charge nurse leader at our state of the art, skilled nursing facility. This position provides direct care to the patients in the facility and provides direct oversight to the nurse aides. Ensures and promotes excellent care delivery on the nursing care units. The position ensures the needs of the residents, resident families and nursing aides are met during the care delivery process.

Pay Rate:$28.00 to $32.00 Hourly Base Rates based on LPN credentials. On top of those great base rates we offer additional shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in the responsibility for the total patient care within the nursing unit, and the management of the unit.
• Provides direct nursing care to the patients
• Carries out administrative and patient care duties as directed by the ADON or DON
• Supervises and assumes responsibility for the actions and care delivered by the nurse associates including monitoring and responding to all policies and procedures regarding such duties.
• Administers medication and treatment per the Physician orders specific to the patient.
• Instructs and observes care is implemented per the physician/clinician or based on standard of practice
• Assist and direct in the admission/discharge process of patients

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have a current license in the state in which he/she is practicing.
• Maintains Licensure (completes CE requirements) and CPR certification
• Has a sincere desire to work with elderly and enjoys working directly with residents, staff and families.
• Possesses good organizational skills and follow-up when patient situations require
