Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking an experienced nurse to provide age-specific nursing care using the nursing process to help patients attain and sustain optimal health.

You will deliver relationship-based care, demonstrate technical nursing skills to ensure safe practice and collaborate with the care team to improve patient outcomes and operations.

The role emphasizes communication, leadership, and ongoing professional development, with adherence to PHI security and UH policies.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care.
• Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
• Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
• Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
• Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
