Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East is seeking a Registered Nurse in a part-time day shift to lead nursing staff and ensure quality patient care on-site in Alabama. The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning and interventions, and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians.

Required is a nursing degree with active RN licensure and BLS; BSN is preferred. Additional certifications may be required depending on area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Assess patient needs, plan care, and perform nursing interventions using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians to plan and implement patient care; perform any additional duties within scope.
