Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington State seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to lead clinical and non-clinical teams on a full-time day shift. The ANM reports to the unit director/manager, supports planning, organizing and evaluating services, and ensures high-quality patient care.

The role requires a BSN, Washington RN license on hire, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates have acute-care leadership experience and Shared Governance familiarity within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: Graduate from School of nursing (BS, or BSN).
• Washington RN license required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift using the nursing process.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and collaboration to deliver quality care.
• Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support director/manager in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating services.
