Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant Manager to lead nursing operations and collaborate with the Clinical Manager to improve outcomes and ensure high-quality patient care.

You will contribute to staffing, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and professional development across the unit, while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of employment; certification as applicable.
• Minimum of two years in clinical nursing practice; leadership/charge role preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing, healthcare systems, and performance improvement theory.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and allocate resources to promote efficient, safe and compassionate nursing care.
• Assist in development of PI Plan initiatives and staff evaluations.
• Participate in regular leadership and staff meetings and maintain unit educator processes.
• Ensure patient satisfaction targets are achieved and maintained.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines and ensure regulatory standards compliance.
• Assist with interviewing for staff vacancies and orientation for new hires, float, and agency staff.
• Evaluate unit operations and disseminate data outcomes to staff and physicians.

Education
