Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Hawaii is seeking an experienced nursing leader to oversee patient care delivery and collaborate with physicians and the broader health care team across locations in Hawaii. The role emphasizes adherence to nursing standards, safety, and continuous quality improvement.

The position requires leadership experience, Hawaii RN licensure, and ACLS/BLS at hire, with a strong focus on developing staff, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliant, high-quality care in a 24/7

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in patient care delivery.
• Associates degree or higher in nursing or related field AND minimum two years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or related field OR minimum three years in relevant field.
• Minimum one year of leadership experience (with or without direct reports).
• BLS required at hire and ACLS required at hire.
• RN License (Hawaii) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of best practice models and patient care delivery systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of designated team; manage resources and staffing.
• Support emergency preparedness, quality, and safety programs across the unit and department.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission, and regulatory requirements.
