Job summary
Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse at the Associate Chief Nurse of Operations level for the Manhattan VA Medical Center in New York, NY. Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and 4 years of professional nursing experience, including leadership roles.
- Current, full, active RN license in a US state or territory, and ability to obtain state licensure as required.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practice standards, quality improvement, and patient safety principles.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for daily clinical and administrative nursing operations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and safe staffing.
- Support the organization’s mission of serving Veterans and maintaining compliance with VHA guidelines.
