Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Intern to support patient care under the direct supervision of an RN. This role emphasizes hands‑on learning, collaboration with the health care team, and delivering safe, compassionate, organized care to enhance the patient experience and healing process.

The Nurse Intern will perform basic patient care, communicate with the care team, and document observations while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Completion of fundamentals of clinicals in an accredited nursing program.
• 0-1 years of experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsabilidades

• Provides basic patient care within scope of practice under supervision.
• Communicates with the care team, including handoffs and reporting changes.
• Develops clinical skills by seeking feedback and applying best practices.
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment meeting safety standards.
• Assists with equipment maintenance and post-discharge storage.
• Performs hourly rounding and engages with patients to foster healing.
• Documents tasks and observations clearly and timely.
• Maintains excellent customer service with patients and families.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
